Updating Gentoo gives me complex feelings
I am restrained by the work that occupies my threads
I am excited by the new features and improvements
I dread compiling clang, llvm, or gcc
I have learned not all libraries are worth compiling
I am comforted by the compiler messages; we're moving forward
I am delighted by the package messages revealing new options and abilities
I am sustained by the community: the forums, the wiki, and more
Long live Gentoo Linux

Added code tags to the ASCII art to force a monospace font. That preserves the formatting. -- NeddySeagoon |

Add the time to compile anything webkit to your list - it's the worst in terms of compile time.
Embrace a good night's sleep - while your computer is busily running updates and doing the compilations. Alternatively, physical exercise in the real world during updates. Both are good for your health, both mental and physical. _________________ .sigs waste space and bandwidth |

I recently subtracted webkit from my compile time, actually. Lutris is nice, but not nice enough. Now I just need to axe dotnet. |
