I upgraded to gentoo kernel 6.6.13 and it longer produces a vmlinuz in the boot folder for grub-mkconfig to detect. Now the kernel image installed in a folder with the computer ID in the boot folder. So when I run grub-mkconfig it no longer detects any kernel image. Does anyone know how to get grub to recognise these kernel images. |

This is due to all of the changes with sys-kernel/installkernel. See the half-dozen other threads on the topic in this forum. |

Upgrade to installkernel-23 or higher, and ensure you do NOT have the systemd-boot USE flag enabled. Optionally enable the grub USE flag to automatically run grub-mkconfig whenever a kernel is installed or removed. _________________ OS: Gentoo 6.8.10-gentoo-dist, ~amd64, 23.0/desktop/plasma/systemd
