Welcome to Gentoo Forums!
Plz use the Ubuntu live desktop iso to install Gentoo.
https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop/thank-you?version=23.10.1&architecture=amd64
It makes no difference at all.
In fact its better.
Easier.
It will autoconfigure your network during boot time.
And the required module will most probably be available.
Plus you will have a browser etc available during the Gentoo installation process.
If still unable with the above latest version of ubuntu then plz try with Manjaro.
Plz post
Code: |
lspci -nnk | grep -iA4 network

Thanks for your reply
I later learned on the Internet that the reason was that the wireless chip was not yet supported, so I replaced an A210 chip to solve the problem
