Had a portage tree app here adapted to 9999/git in /usr/db/repos/local.

It failed to build a while ago because later releases went qt6.

Initial ebuild was good enough to survive here.
Nice job at portage level too.

Tackling this issue was easy here < 1 hour which is a record:

Mainly by switching eqmake5 directive to eqmake6 in ebuild along with many dev-qt/*:qt5 replacement to dev-qt/qtbase[FLAGS], e.g. dev-qt/qtbase[cups, gui, network, widgets)

Wishing all the best 2 those giving such a shot on their favorite upstream qt6 ready package.

After recent rsync, things are getting harder here, i.e. on the qt6 side of kde upgrade.
Let's stay calm, wait and see...
