|
|
Had a portage tree app here adapted to 9999/git in /usr/db/repos/local.
It failed to build a while ago because later releases went qt6.
Initial ebuild was good enough to survive here.
Nice job at portage level too.
Tackling this issue was easy here < 1 hour which is a record:
Mainly by switching eqmake5 directive to eqmake6 in ebuild along with many dev-qt/*:qt5 replacement to dev-qt/qtbase[FLAGS], e.g. dev-qt/qtbase[cups, gui, network, widgets)
Wishing all the best 2 those giving such a shot on their favorite upstream qt6 ready package.
Thks 4 ut attention, interest & support. _________________ USE="-* ..." in /etc/portage/make.conf here, i.e. a countermeasure to portage implicit braces, belt & diaper paradigm

After recent rsync, things are getting harder here, i.e. on the qt6 side of kde upgrade.
Let's stay calm, wait and see...

Random blurb or what do you want to tell us exactly? |
