Hi all,
I'm using the 2.6 LiveCD from the 21st (full).
I have a Tekram SCSI card using the sym53c8xx driver, processor is Athlon64 3000+
I get all sorts of SCSI I/O errors that keep me from properly uncompressing any of the stages to disk.
Is this a bug with the LiveCD kernel, 2.6 in general, or 64-bit?
When I had the system compiled as 32-bit I didn't get errors...
TIA |

Well, I had a similar problem on AMD64, using an Adaptec 19160... It's not a problem of the 2.6 kernel per se, it has to do with the kernel on the LiveCD, just use the first AMD64 LiveCD using the 2.4.x kernel and everything should work as expected.
Oh, and don't use NPTL and K8 NUMA if you need the Nvidia drivers to work! |

Well, that LiveCD worked great to the point that I have no more SCSI errors- but it doesn't have XFS support!
Anyone know of one that has good SCSI *and* XFS? |
