ciao
da qualche giorno noto da conky che ho traffico di rete continuo (pochi bytes) anche se (apparentemente) non sto usando la rete, non so se sia una cosa che semplicemente non ho mai notato oppure se è un problema nato ultimamente.
mi aiutate a capire per favore?
posto qualche output, in attesa di sapere da voi se servono o meno altre informazioni.

specifico che al momento di questi output avevo aperto solo il browser e non usavo altro, ma l'output non cambia se non che non ho il processo di chrome attivo

Ciao!
Non me ne intendo tanto, ma se può esserti d'aiuto tieni presente che certi processi sono dei "daemon" (generalmente col nome che finisce in d, come cupsd, clamd o dhcpcd), che funzionano in background e può essere che comunichino usando protocolli di rete. Nel senso che tu vedi la connessione, ma è interna al pc, non verso internet.
Comunque (anche se probabilmente è una cosa diversa) ho notato anch'io qualche connessione strana sul mio pc.
Io uso vivaldi che è basato su chromium, e ho notato già da un po' (anch'io dall'output del conky) che lanciando il browser senza aprire nessun link mi si attivano comunque dei collegamenti all'esterno.
Non so che roba sia, probabilmente o funzioni di "sicurezza" di google, o report di funzionamento del browser, o qualche estensione... Purtroppo non ci sono informazioni utili nelle impostazioni del browser.

Considera che se hai un account collegato al browser , già quello ti mette in connessione per mantenere sincronizzati gli account magari tra i vari dispositivi in uso.
Basta anche l'utilizzo di un qualcosa di "domotico" in casa con il quale monitorizzi.
magari l'utilizzo di uno sniffer apposito può permettere di capire dove vadano effettivamente quei pacchetti
ad esempio utilizzando Wireshark oppure in Kali Linux è già incluso , scarichi la live e la avvii .
non avendo nulla di account o altro collegato vedi subito se ci sono connessioni "strane" che non dipendono direttamente dal Sistema installato
l'IOT è ormai ovunque ... se vuoi privacy e sicurezza , spegni tutto. 
(e non è detto che basti)

la cosa mi è apparsa "curiosa" perchè non avevo mai notato che ci fosse questo lieve utilizzo di banda continuo...ma appunto non so se sia una novità oppure se non mi sono mai accorta
effettivamente potrebbe essere l'account google, ma non dovrei vedere qualcosa nei processi attivi?
