See the VMWare wiki page for the required kernel options you seem to be missing for the SCSI controller |

Hi, which DRM do I need for a VMware VM on ESX? https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/VMware doesn't tell about this.
I have Code: | CONFIG_DRM_VMWGFX=m | set. But during the boot the screens gets black soon after the kernel has loaded.
On some older machine with old 5.7.12-gentoo I also had Code: | CONFIG_DRM=m
CONFIG_DRM_VMWGFX_FBCON=y | but these don't exist anymore on 6.6.21.
Or is anything missing in the initrd created by dracut? _________________ HP ZBook Power 15.6" G8 i7-11800H|HP EliteDesk 800G1 i7-4790|HP Compaq Pro 6300 i7-3770 |
