|
|
Code: | !!! The following binary packages have been ignored due to non matching USE:
=net-mail/mailutils-3.15 split-usr
|
Why is that package with split-usr enabled on the binhost? Furthermore split-ust is masked:
Code: | [ebuild N ] net-mail/mailutils-3.15::gentoo USE="clients gdbm ipv6 nls pam ssl threads -berkdb -bidi -emacs -guile -kerberos -kyotocabinet -ldap -mysql -postgres -python -sasl -servers (-split-usr) -static-libs -tcpd -tokyocabinet" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_11 -python3_10" 0 KiB
|
I find that odd.
Best Regards,
Georgi |

Are you sure you have the correct profile selected? What did you change from/to? |

I forgot to mention this was on 17.1 while updating prior to migration. Still I was surprised.
But now that everybody's moving to 23.0 me on the way already, it might be worthless checking.

Because the binhost for the 17.1 profile uses the default split-usr profile, which doesn't affect a *lot* of packages but definitely affects a few.

Sure, it's masked by your profile.
And other profiles unconditionally force it and don't let you disable it... |

I'm way past that already and can't remember details. I only remember it was pointed out as a use flag incompatibility which didn't make sense.
