Any experience to share as emerge -e world has always rejected packages from that repository?

Migrated six computers, all with without-systemd, all went without any problem.
What do you mean emerge -e @world rejects those packages? It's always gone perfectly fine here. Perhaps you're sabotaging yourself by running USE="-*"? |

Yeah, temporary removal in make.conf cancels the issue.
+1

If you need help identifying what specifically breaks it, please follow the instructions in Guidelines item #4: show us what you ran and its full output. |
