[solution] Despite everything I tried (and I tried a lot), nothing worked. And I ended up finding the solution, so simple, which was to simply delete ~/.local/state/wireplumber/, and all the "inputs" appeared wherever they should, and I was able to select the one of my choice, and I can now recover the sound from the microphones.

Hi,

I use firewire, and all is ok with outputs.
But I realize that I don't have any INPUT device in the manager, and no input sound (from microphones).
I have 2 sound cards using snd-hda-intel, HDMI is volontary disabled
Code:
/etc/modprobe.d/hda-intel.conf
options snd-hda-intel model=auto enable=1,0,1 index=2,0

Code:
20:07:40 chris@coffee ~ $ LANG=C arecord -L
null
Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture)

But nothing in https://ibb.co/jwDSC2p

I have to say that I got sound from an USB input device (webcam).

I don't know where to have a look.

Try dropping any customizations disabling devices via module conf and also any asound.conf or ~/.asoundrc then share output of pactl info.
