|
|
I'm working on running openclaw on my gentoo laptop,
here is a link to the project:
https://github.com/pjasicek/OpenClaw

I have followed the instructions in the github page and built the game, I am getting the loading screen, but whenever I click play the game crashes with the following error:
Code: | INFO: Display successfully initialized.
INFO: >>>>> Initializing audio...
ERROR: [Audio::InitializeMidiRPCServer] FAILED to start RPC MIDI Server. [MidiProc.exe]
ERROR: [BaseGameApp::InitializeAudio] Failed to initialize SDL Mixer audio subsystem
ERROR: [RunGameEngine] Failed to initialize. Exiting. |
I'm running timidity++ for the midi using the following command:
Code: | timidity -iAD -B2,8 -Os1l -s 44100 -x'soundfont /usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2 order=1' |
I was able to play a test midi file using aplaymidi:
Code: | aplaymidi Test_-_test1.mid -p128:0
|
wine use flags:
Code: | [ebuild R ] app-emulation/wine-proton-8.0.3c:8.0.3c::gentoo USE="alsa mono pulseaudio sdl -crossdev-mingw -custom-cflags -fontconfig -gecko -gstreamer -llvm-libunwind -nls -osmesa -perl (-selinux) -ssl -strip -udev -udisks -unwind -usb -v4l -xcomposite -xinerama" ABI_X86="32 64" 0 KiB

I have tested another game using midi on wine, if I run the timidity command before I start the game, the music runs fine, if I don't there is no music.
this leads me to the conclusion that there is no problem with wine nor timidity and the problem is with the game itself. |
