cursory web search indicates that cpickle was deprecated as it's for python2, ... so it seems your code may be python2 limited and converting to python3 may be some work...

Just wondering is it python2 ? Since it seems to be in /usr/local/bin it's not in portage so I'm kind of at a loss of how to analyze it further...

Hi,
Yes the project is for python2.
And it is kind of in stagnation - looks like wxWidgets is moving to CMake and so possibly it will be abandoned.
Pity as it's a good tool for Makefile generation...
