BMQ Scheduler hangs

Today I upgraded the kernel from 6.7.0 to 6.8.5-r1.

oldconfig recommends to activate CONFIG_SCHED_ALT and CONFIG_SCHED_BMQ.

So I gave BMQ a chance.

After the reboot and recompiling the kernel due to a different problem I realized the system was extremly laggy. Mouse and keyboard weren't usable if the computer was under load.

Is there anything to reconfigure in order to use BMQ scheduler?
