Hello All,

I installed KMV/QEMU on my Gentoo, everything work fine except the functionality "Auto resize VM with window" which remind grey out, so the display of the VM is not optimal.
On the Windows guest I installed the package "spice-guest-tools"

On the hypervisor I use Spice as display server and QXL as video card, I tried Virtio card too but without result.
During setup I use the Gentoo wiki's https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/QEMU and everything was OK.

My PC is a ThinkPad E14 AMD Ryzen 5 and a Renoir AMD Radeon as graphic card.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Willy

Hello All,

I know the root cause of this problem, on the Windows guest machine the service spice-vdagent doesn't start, I don't think the problem come from to the Windows, I think it must be have something wrong in the hypervisor configuration.

Kind regards,

Willy

I solved my problem,

I set 2 parameters in my hypervisor :

1) In my "Display Spice" I set parameter "Listen type" Address
2) I add a new device "Serial Port Controler Virtio"

Now everything work fine :D

Kind regards,

Willy
