I am trying to setup my HP network multifunction device (scanner, fax, printer) and printer is ok, but scanner doesnt work.

I have sane setup properly and device is configured (hp-setup -i 192.168.1.27). I can print via cups, but when i try to scan i get the following error:
Code:

libm.so is in fact a text flie:
Code:

/* GNU ld script
*/
OUTPUT_FORMAT(elf64-x86-64)
GROUP ( /lib64/libm.so.6  AS_NEEDED ( /lib64/libmvec.so.1 ) )

What should i try?
i am at loss, and google doesnt report anything useful...

EDIT: it looks like the "libm.so" error is not part of the issue. Even by resolving that (ugly link between libm.so.6 and libm.so, which i removed after testing) the other errors still remain and cannot scan...

EDIT: solved, MFD device had network misconfigured, DNS and gateway was wrong, for some reasons that would prevent scan but not print.

Have you run the hplip setup and diagnostics such as hp-setup and hp-doctor ("hp-foo --help" for details). You might need to run them as root. There are some other hp-foo diagnostics; I've no idea if they're relevant.
