|
|
Sometime in the last two days changed on my system so that when I try to launch vim I receive:
Code: | /usr/bin/vim: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/vim: undefined symbol: PL_current_context |
(Perhaps my daily 'emerge --update --deep --changed-use @world ' ? )
So I ran:
Code: | emerge --oneshot vim vim-core |
Now vim (vi) is working again.
(Hope this helps someone else.) |

It's because of the Perl update. Perl-cleaner will also take care of it. You get a message about it after you update perl.
Code: | perl-cleaner --force --libperl |
