Moin,
ich habe einen alten Grundig 42 VLE 983 BL als Zweitmonitor über HDMI angeschlossen. Allerdings verschwinden die Menüleisten oben und xrandr "sieht" eine Göße von 160 * 90 mm - was definitiv nicht stimmt. Bildschirmdiagonale ist 107 cm.

Der primäre Monitor an DVI wird korrekt erkannt und alles funktikoniert.

Ich habe hier diese Nvidia-Treiber laufen:

Neuere Versionen sind nach meinem Kenntnisstand nicht mehr kompatibel mit der Graka.
Als Server läuft Xorg "out of the box" - ohne xorg.conf:

nvidia-settings sind installiert, allerdings finde ich da keine Einstellung für die Monitorgröße...? Wie korrigiere ich die Bildschirmgröße am einfachsten? Mache ich eine xorg.conf, setze ich einen xrandr-Befehl oder kann ich den nvidia--Treiber direkt konfigurieren? Kennt sich jemand aus?

Ich hab meinen PC mit Geforce GTX 750 mittels DVI -> HDMI-Kabel mit einem JVC LT-32VF5156W an HDMI_3 angeschlossen.
Als Host-System nutze ich Win 11 Pro, Gentoo läuft als Gastsystem in VirtualBox.
Ich hatte unter Win 11 auch das Problem dass die Leiste unten verschwand. Ich hab dann bei dem Einstellungsmenu vom TV bei Grafik nur für HDMI_3 was verändert, sodass das Bild korrekt angezeigt wird.
Ein xrandr-Problem hatte ich unter einem Calculate Linux-Gastsystem auch gehabt und gelöst https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1168368.html

Ja, das ist wahrscheinlich eine Einstellung die am TV-Gerät justiert werden sollte. Schau mal in den Einstellungen am TV, meist unter HDMI oder Bildeinstellungen.
Im englischen nennt sich das Overscan, ist meist per default enabled, und du möchtest wahrscheinlich disabled.

In den Einstellungen vom TV habe ich natürlich nicht gesucht....
