Hello all,

I want to install neovide. See this page

https://neovide.dev/installation.html

at the bottom it gives the command (for installation)

Code:

cargo install --git https://github.com/neovide/neovide

My question: what if I want to install a certain version? how can I change the command? appending the command with --version VERSION gives the error

Code:

error: the following required arguments were not provided:
[CRATE[@<VER>]]...
Usage: cargo install --git <URL> --version <VERSION> [CRATE[@<VER>]]

I also tried

Code:

cargo install --git https://github.com/neovide/neovide@0.11.2

no dice

EDIT: Figured it out.

Code:

cargo install --git https://github.com/neovide/neovide --tag 0.12.2

(it's tag. not version)
