Any solution to the md2man ?

[Administrator note: this post, and the first response, were originally attached to the solved topic [SOLVED] Problem to compile dev-go/go-md2man. Since that post was solved, per the suggestion in the first response, I split this to its own thread. -Hu]

I had the idea to test out docker, and found that it depends on the md2man, and I can't for my life get it to compile.

I get stuck on: "-buildmode=pie requires external (cgo) linking, but cgo is not enabled"

Tried some workarounds that was suggested here, but gets stuck with errors like: "dial tcp: lookup proxy.golang.org" and "git ls-remote -q origin in ... ".

Any advice on how to install and get docker or md2man running ?
