Hi, this is the official link https://www.alfa.com.tw/products/awus036axm?variant=39913640198216

My laptop is an old Thinkpad T430.

The problem is: sometimes Wi-Fi strength is not enough, and especially it can be important during travel. My laptop is missing Bluetooth module - so this is also good to have it - for headphones. I thought about better internal mini pci-e replacement, but I think that Wi-Fi strength is more important. In this city, sometimes they disable electricity, and Wi-Fi from the closest MacDonald's is very slow :) Sometimes we buy food from them, so this is not stealing.

My girlfriend has an old MacBook Air - is it compatible?

So, anybody have this device? I read that it uses in-tree drivers, so I will not need a proprietary blobs, right?

Thanks for the help!
