Hallo zusammen!
Warum werden bei unstable diese beiden Versionen unmittelbar hintereinander installiert?
Ist das notwendig oder überflüssig?
Vor allem ist es ein riesiger Zeitaufwand.

llvm ist slotted. Und ein Paket versucht immer die aktuellste Version die ihre Dependency-Liste noch erlaubt zu installieren. Und auf "unstable" passiert das häufiger dass ein Paket schon in einer neueren portage-tree unstable-Version vorliegt und damit eine neuere LLVM/Clang Version erlaubt als ein anderes "stable" Paket.
Das wurde dir auch vor kurzem schon einmal erklärt. Der entsprechende Befehl der dir die Abhängigkeiten zu einem Paket ausgibt wäre:
equery d sys-devel/llvm
Versuch das mal.
