A few times a day, I will lose network connectivity on my laptop. This is resolved by restarting the wpa_supplicant service. I'm unable to find anything logging what happens, but I'd like to know if there's a fix for this. I have a hunch that it may be related to the somewhat spotty Broadcom wifi driver (BCM43224 w/ bcma-pci-bridge), but it does work well aside from this. Please let me know if I can provide any other info. Cheers!

I have similar issues. In my case, the connection drops and GNOME tells me that I need to reenter my WiFi password for some reason. Disabling and reenabling WiFi in GNOME's quick settings restores the connection for a while.
My fix was to switch from wpa_supplicant to iwd. No connection issues since then. |

Ah, I am surprised I did not come across this and switch sooner. So far network connection seems stable and have not had to restart anything. Ta! |
