Hi an alle,

leider habe ich ein Problem mit meiner grafischen Oberfläche.
Wenn ich die beispielsweise per sddm oder gdm starten will, bleibt das Bild komplett schwarz.
Nehme ich lightdm, erhalte ich zwar eine grafische Oberfläche, kann mich aber dennoch nicht einloggen. Sobald ich den Username oder das Passwort eingebe, bin ich wieder ein der Einlogmaske.

Ich habe daraufhin versucht, mich direkt vom Terminal aus einzuloggen und dann direkt beispielsweise Fluxbox zu starten.
Das kann ich allerdings lediglich als root. Wenn ich als User Fluxbox starten möchte:

Ich vermute, dass hier auch das Problem mit dem schwarzen Bildschirm mit sddm, gdm oder lightdm begründet ist.
Schließlich kann ich als root Fluxbox starten. Ich habe auch bereits einen neuen User angelegt, um Probleme mit dem Userkonto auszuschließen. Hier habe ich allerdings die gleichen Probleme.
Bis gestern hatte ich keine Probleme mit dem System. Ich habe lediglich ein World Update gemacht, bei dem Plasma Pakete auf den neuesten Stand gebracht worden sind.

Ich habe bereits die nvidia-drivers und den xorg-server neu emerged. Außerdem habe ich dem User tty Rechte gegeben. Alles hat nichts gebracht.

Verstehe ich das richtig dass du systemd nutzt?

Falls dem so ist, schau doch bitte nach ob systemd-logind und dbus gestartet sind.

Hallo,

zunächst vielen Dank für deine Antwort!
Es ist korrekt, dass ich systemd nutze. Beide genannten Dienste sind active / Running.

Nachdem ich DBUS neu emerged habe, kann ich zumindest wieder SDDM starten und mich einloggen.
Ein startx als User, wird allerdings weiterhin mit den genannten Meldungen abgebrochen.

Es gibt da im Moment unterschiedliche Meldungen. die Xorg Log sag das VT7 verwendet werden soll. Die startx sagt dass TTY2 nicht verwendbar ist. Ist agetty@tty2 gestartet? schalt das mal probehalber aus.

ich gehe davon aus dass kein agetty@tty7 gestartet ist. Und sddm bei deinem Test mit startx ebenfalls abgeschaltet ist.

das hilft, kannst du mal ein ls -laF /dev/tty? posten?

Vielleicht hilft das.

Permission Denied kann ein paar Dinge bedeuten.
