[Administrator note: this post, and the first response, were originally attached to the solved topic SOLVED python 3.12 fontforge No module named 'distutils'. As logrusx notes, this is not appropriate, so I split it out. -Hu]
dev-libs/gobject-introspection-1.78.1 also fails due to missing distutils.

File a bug. It's not a good idea to post to other threads, it convollutes the thread as well as decreases the chance your problem will get the attention it needs.
Last but not least, it's not a good manner.

To extend on what logrusx said, posting to a SOLVED thread is a particularly poor choice, because some people will not read a thread that has been SOLVED, and so will miss your post completely. |
