|
|
Hi, after last system upgrade i face soft blocking for kde-frameworks/kirigami:5 and kde-frameworks/kirigami:6 with USE=examples, disable this USE flag allows both packages to be installed without any issue.
Is the any workaround for this?
# emerge kirigami:5 kirigami:6 -pvq
[ebuild R ] kde-frameworks/kirigami-6.3.0 USE="examples openmp -debug -test"
[ebuild R ] kde-frameworks/kirigami-5.116.0 USE="examples* openmp -debug -test"
[blocks B ] kde-frameworks/kirigami:5[examples] ("kde-frameworks/kirigami:5[examples]" is soft blocking kde-frameworks/kirigami-6.3.0)
* Error: The above package list contains packages which cannot be
* installed at the same time on the same system.

Gentoo developers normally set blocks for a good reason. In this case, I would guess that there are file collisions if the block is overridden. Your message indicates that disabling USE=examples allows both to install. Why is that not the solution here? |

Needless to say, it is the solution. You just can't have examples in both slots of kirigami. |
