app-misc/openrgb is failing to build at linking phase

Hello, I tried compiling this program with both gcc and clang and both giving this same error at linking phase;

linking openrgb
ld.lld: error: unable to find library -lhttplib

httplib is part of dev-cpp/cpp-httplib package but I already have it.

Might it be a problem with the ebuild?

I really would like to use this program so I might contact the developer as well.

I also tried the both stable and **9999 versions, same error at same stage.

I tried re-emerging dev-cpp/cpp-httplib but that didn't solved the problem. I'm open to suggestions

A search on bugs.gentoo.org for openrgb returns app-misc/openrgb-0.9: fails to compile with >=dev-cpp/cpp-httplib-0.16.0: "cannot find -lhttplib: No such file or directory", which looks plausible from the limited information you provided.
