rant: prusaslicer-2.8.0 needs x11-libs/wxGTK[webkit]

Well, it's not that needing webkit, it's that webkit installs ruby. I don't want ruby, nor do I really want prusaslicer to web browse, I just want it to slice!

I think you are wasting your breath here. Why not jump on the bandwagon:

Also, it is open source software. You can always fork it and undo the changes that brought this on. They are here:

Technically my printer was a Cura printer as that's what came inside the box. If I had a Prusa printer I'd probably have a say in this and Cura already had this crap embedded...
