Environment Modules

Dear community,
I search for the package "Environment Modules". From the web pages https://modules.sourceforge.net:
"Typically users initialize their environment when they log in by setting environment information for every application they will reference during the session. The Environment Modules package is a tool that simplify shell initialization and lets users easily modify their environment during the session with modulefiles."

I did not found this package in Gentoo, and I'm wondering if there is any particular reason. Does the package exist?
I found the "module" command very useful in loading settings for different programs.

Probably it's just that no-one has volunteered to add it to the main repo yet. But version 5.2.0 is available in the xdch47 overlay, as `sys-cluster/env-modules`: https://gpo.zugaina.org/Overlays/xdch47/sys-cluster/env-modules
