Hello,

In the middle of installing Gentoo for the first time. I have a question. I created a ext3 filesystem for /boot instead of ext2 (by accident) is this going to cause me problems? I'm in the emerge system phase of the install. If there is anything I can do to remedy this let me know.

Thanks in advance.

As long as you make sure that you have ext3 support in your kernel (not as a module!) you're fine :)
Ext3 is compatible with ext2, so as long as you have ext2 support in your kernel you are able to mount the partition (some space is wasted for the journal-file).
