Hello,
In the middle of installing Gentoo for the first time. I have a question. I created a ext3 filesystem for /boot instead of ext2 (by accident) is this going to cause me problems? I'm in the emerge system phase of the install. If there is anything I can do to remedy this let me know.
Thanks in advance. |

As long as you make sure that you have ext3 support in your kernel (not as a module!) you're fine
Ext3 is compatible with ext2, so as long as you have ext2 support in your kernel you are able to mount the partition (some space is wasted for the journal-file). |
