Could be:
- Power issue
- Hardware issue. Tried with different devices?
- Setup issue. Can you try a USB-Image of a different linux distro?
- TLP power standby issue: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/TLP#USB_autosuspend https://linrunner.de/tlp/settings/runtimepm.html

i have 2 of this MiniPC
ACEMAGICIAN AM06 Pro Mini PC, AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (8C/16T, bis zu 4.3Ghz),16GB DDR4 512GB NVME SSD Mini Computer mit Type-C |Dual LAN| WiFi6 |BT5.2

most Times i running them over TigerVNC as Synthesizer (VCV Rack 2 PRO)

Since i have a monitor, a few days ago, i connected one of these MiniPCs to a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Today i connected the other MiniPC with the Monitor, keyboard and mouse, and there are no problems with disconnected keyboard and mouse.

i dived a little bit in these subject and realized that one runs under
sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-6.6.30 ( the older MiniPC)
and the new one runs under
sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-6.6.37

Now i switched MiniPC 2 to the older Kernel and it looks like it works well
SO i assume it's a kernel problem

or a missing/changed kernel option. Try to compare the kernel config and maybe you find the difference

I do hope you know this section from the kernel wiki page about how to upgrade the config file: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Kernel/Upgrade#Update_the_.config_file
