Hi Experts, I am installing gentoo on a new server, however when I reboot, its taking me to grub rescue and I am getting unknown filesystem.

when I do ls on different partitions, all of them showing unknow file system.
(hd0,msdos1) (hd0,msdos2) (hd0,msdos3) (hd0,msdos4) (hd3,msdos1) (hd3,msdos2)

There are total 4 disks which are installed. 2 are in Raid 5 and other 2 are in non-raid. OS installation I am doing on the Raid-5 disks. Partitions are dos - /dev/sda1 as root, /dev/sda2 as boot, /dev/sda3 as var and /dev/sda4 as home.

Please suggest what exactly am I missing here.

File system is xfs which is compiled in the kernel
megaraid_sas is there which is also compiled in the kernel
