I have a Radeon R7 240 .
lspci:
VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Oland PRO [Radeon R7 240/340 / Radeon 520] (rev 87)

I have followed these instructions but have not completed items I've listed below:
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Radeon

Things are working fine but I am having trouble with some website with graphics.

I'm wondering if media-libs/mesa-amber might help ?

Code:

mesa-amber for r100 and r200

With the introduction of Mesa 22, the classic driver was dropped from the main library[2]. One way to restore acceleration is to use media-libs/mesa-amber.

First, unless there is another Radeon video card in the system (which is unlikely on such an old setup), disable llvm and video_cards_radeon USE flags in package.use for media-libs/mesa:
FILE /etc/portage/package.use/mesa-amber

media-libs/mesa -llvm -video_cards_radeon

Then, install mesa-amber:
root #emerge --ask media-libs/mesa-amber

This may or may not need further configuration.

I have also added all the drivers to my kernel:

OLAND HD8550M-HD8790M, R7 240
radeon/oland_ce.bin radeon/oland_mc.bin radeon/oland_me.bin radeon/oland_pfp.bin radeon/oland_rlc.bin radeon/oland_smc.bin radeon/TAHITI_uvd.bin

Would the following cause a problem in my make.conf
This is from my make.conf
Code:

VIDEO_CARDS="radeon radeonsi"

I would appreciate any tips that might optimize my video.

I'm running Sapphire R7 240 on my PC, but with amdgpu on kernel 5.10.208 (newer breaks my pulseaudio). Only two problems that I noticed are:
- Video hardware decoding doesn't work, but since this is not a laptop, I don't mind it.
- Steam (flatpak) UI is slightly broken: sometimes scrolling bar doesn't display properly, and when first opening the store page, I can see for a second garbage and sometimes pictures that I moment ago saw on Firefox.

I'm running regular mesa.
