In the past I had some greasemoney scripts I used in firefox-bin that used jquery simply by having this in the header:
Code:
// @require https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.6.1.min.js
With that I was able to use jquery by referencing "$". While I hadn't used any of this in a while, that DID work not long ago. Currently I'm running FF 129.0 and any scripts that are doing this simple fail with "$ is not defined".

I CANNOT find anything about this at all. Anyone have a clue what might have happened with that? I'm coming up totally empty.

Note that I generally use Palemoon and greasemonkey with jquery works fine in that. This case is for some sites that don't work in palemoon.

My basic impression of FF in general is that it's a flaming pile of s*** frankly. On the rare occasions I have to use it I remember why I switched. No clue what happened here, but I thought this was pretty trivial stuff in greasemonkey, and it's now just flat out broken. No clue what those ass-hats did.
