Hi Experts, is it possible to pass a source IP with ptp4l commandline ?

Scenario is that the IP which is allowed to connect or sync with ptp server is configured on a sub-interface enp101s0:1 and not on the Physical interface. Now when I am trying to pass enp101s0:1 with ptp4l, it does not work and throws - setsockopt SO_BINDTODEVICE failed: No such device as shown below error -

Quote:
# ptp4l -H -4 -i enp101s0:1 -m
ptp4l[962655.540]: selected /dev/ptp1 as PTP clock
ptp4l[962655.542]: setsockopt SO_BINDTODEVICE failed: No such device
ptp4l[962655.542]: port 1: INITIALIZING to FAULTY on FAULT_DETECTED (FT_UNSPECIFIED)
ptp4l[962655.542]: port 0: INITIALIZING to LISTENING on INIT_COMPLETE

Please suggest if there is a way to pass source IP or sub-interface with ptp4l command.

Thanks for all the help in advance.
