Portage REALLY wants to depclean postgresql:15

I have:

*/* POSTGRES_TARGETS: postgres15

In my package.use.

POSTGRES_TARGETS="postgres15" in my make.conf

I've even tried masking >dev-db/postgresql:15

But if I do emerge -p --depclean it wants to remove 15 and keep 16.

Any advice?

If you want to keep version 15 you should add it to world file with emerge --noreplace dev-db/postgresql:15 command.
