In KDE Plasma, running on my brand new Raspberry Pi 5, in the Application Launcher, where I normally see Sleep, Hibernate, Restart, Shutdown, and Leave buttons, all I see is the Leave button. Is there an application or specific USE flag necessary to support this functionality? There are so many settings that I can't swear that everything is exactly the same as my other machines (workstations & laptops), but I'm not aware of doing anything major different in the basic setup of Plasma. All systems are OpenRC-based; elogind is in use.
On a likely completely unrelated note, on the Pi—and on an x86 laptop—in SDDM I see restart and shutdown buttons on the top right, but on my workstation I do not.
"emerge --info" for two machines is here:- Workstation (showing Plasma buttons; missing SDDM buttons) here.
- Raspberry Pi 5 (missing Plasma buttons; showing SDDM buttons) here.
Anything obvious I'm missing?

It's possible your issue is the same as bug 934314. Try downgrading to polkit-123. If that works, then it's the same bug. If so, please follow my instructions over there and post on the bug your findings. |
