|
|
My 5k monitor is showing up as 2 4k monitors in the game resolution list. I cannot select a higher resolution then 4k in games.
The resolution is 5120x2880 on gnome.,. |

Gnome lists 5k as a resolution for my thunderbolt monitor, but games on steam (all games on steam) are completely messed up when it comes to resolutions.
They either offer a max of 4k, or half of the monitor.
The monitor shows up as two display port signals, so each half is like 2.5k or something. But on gnome it is output as one display, so it appears to be one monitor.
On KDE it doesn't even do this, on KDE it just lists a max of 4k resolution.
I don't have these issues on windows or macOS >.> |

Oh okay, this is a X11 issue on gnome. Wayland on gnome fixes it. |
