I'm getting this for linux-firmware. I don't have a clue what's going on. There's free space on the root filesystem.

Code:
>>> Installing (1 of 12) sys-kernel/linux-firmware-20240909::gentoo
Process Process-25:
Traceback (most recent call last):

OSError: [Errno 74] Bad message: '/lib/firmware/amdgpu/gc_11_0_2_rlc.bin'

EDIT: this is in dmesg:

Code:
[25421.825701] EXT4-fs error (device nvme0n1p3): ext4_lookup:1855: inode #5120464: comm emerge: iget: checksum invalid
[25641.086205] EXT4-fs error (device nvme0n1p3): ext4_lookup:1855: inode #5120464: comm emerge: iget: checksum invalid

This is not the first time I'm getting it. Perhaps a forced fsck will fix it, but I don't know where this is coming from. Any ideas?

EDIT2: yes, it fixed it. The only thing I can think of is failed wake-up from sleep on battery after the system was put to sleep plugged in which, I remember had happened prior to the previous time I got those errors.

Best Regards,
Georgi
