OK I think this is a Linux config error on my part.
I have a nice 2 MBIT DSL connection that worked OK with Windows.
I have a bunch of real world addresses and an internal subnet connected to a Speedtouch Pro
So my gateway is 10.0.0.138
I have 8 real world addresses 5 of which are programmed into the Speedtouch pro.
The Gentoo box has both the real world and internal IP in its routing table.
This is what my routing table on both my Linux boxes (gentoo + fedora) looks like this

Anyway....browsing is hit and miss. 1 to 2 in 20 hits goes pear shaped and it's driving me nuts!
I believe everything worked in Windows a lot easier because WIndows broke the rules.
I can reproduce the problem in Opera as well as Firebird...so it's not the weird Firebird problem that people have been having.
I really do think it's something I have configured wrong because I get it on my other PC with has Fedora installed on it.
To make the problem more awkward....I no have lost the damn password to Speedtouch Pro - so I can't get into it! ![Embarassed :oops:](images/smiles/icon_redface.gif) |

Explain your network wiring and which IP addresses are allocated to which devcies.
