|

Hello there,
I have problems to configure shorewall with the following configuration: I have a router (192.168.2.1), connected to ADSL, a workstation (192.168.2.4) and a development server (192.168.2.2). The workstation and the server have one network card, connected to the router. What I'm trying to do on the server (192.168.2.2) is to open ports 22, 80 and 443 for the workstation only. All requests from somewhere else should be dropped. As the server has only one network card, I need to do something like Aliased interfaces (http://www.shorewall.net/Shorewall_and_Aliased_Interfaces.html).
Does anyone knows how to do that, as I was unable to achieve this using the shorewall documentation?
Thanks you very much in advance.

ok, I found it. It was as easy as adding:
net:192.168.2.4 in the shorewall/rules file. |
