Since recent Gentoo update I found that I could no longer suspend the system, change display brightness without authentication.
I am using Plasma6 on wayland.

Code:

Action: Suspend the system
ID: org.freedesktop.login1.suspend
Vendor: The Systemd project

Looking around online I found a person with same problem

One suggested solution (that solved my problem) was to edit /etc/sddm.conf.d/01gentoo.conf and remove

DisplayServer=wayland

I thought I'd share this here in case someone comes across same problem
