Nvidia Support for Quadro NVS 4200M (Discrete graphics)

I have a Thinkpad T420 with hybrid Intel(integrated) and Nvidia graphics. lshw shows the Nvidia GPU as "unclaimed."

I've tried masking the x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers package to get an older version but still no support. Is there any way to get this driver working here? I've had it working on Arch earlier this year.

While 390.xx drivers do support that card, 390's incomplete libglvnd support tend to lead to issues with hybrid graphics w/ modern Gentoo unless you can make it use nvidia-only. That driver is also very much on its last legs and with a lot of issues, I personally wouldn't recommend bothering with it.
