Hello,

I'm having trouble with emerging nss-3.105 with abi_x86_32. It fails with:
Quote:
mkdir -p: Value too large for defined data type

Only 32bit fails, 64 bit works. I use 32bit for Steam. I'm using the latest version of Firefox, hence the need for the masked version of nss. As far as I'm aware, this is the only 32bit package with this problem. Only this version fails, I emerged nss-3.103 with no problems

Thank you for your help

Okay so progress. I got it work by changing the temp directory. Using PORTAGE_TMPDIR, I pointed to a tmpfs filesystem and it compiled just fine. I have a 2TB XFS drive. Does this count as a bug? Should I report it?

Yes, please file a Gentoo bug. It needs append-lfs-flags.
