Building fine with latest mold throws many: Code: | mold: warning: unknown command line option: -z retpolineplt | within build phase.
Building fine with both latest lld & latest bfd throws at config phase: Code: | checking if x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-cc supports compile flag -mretpoline... no
checking if x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-cc supports link flag -Wl,-z,retpolineplt... no |
Any idea what the requirements are for such an option to be taken into account?
Code: | eix sys-devel/gcc
[I] sys-devel/gcc
