You are likely to run into lots of issues with the experimental x32 subarch as it is not widely tested.

Unless you really want this, suggest starting over with a reformat (but not repartition) using a standard amd64 (aka x86_64) stage3 instead.

If you do keep x32 subarch, then rust looks to be in a pickle and needs a bug reported.

If that is what you really want, then download the x86 stage3. x32 is 64-bit with 32-bit pointers.

There is little to no reason to not use 64-bit on CPUs that support it, IMHO. The standard amd64 stage3 runs both 64-bit and 32-bit code just fine. It just may take a bit more work to set flags to get both on libraries.

No, it is not. x86_64 is over 25 years old at this point and is the main focus of most code written in recent times. x86_32 is quickly becoming very well under tested.

In addition, programs will have limited use of RAM (max 2GiB each) and not the full 32GiB that your system has installed

https://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/x86/autobuilds/current-stage3-i686-ssemath-openrc/ as an example URL to start with.
