I am in the process of setting up a cross-compiler for my daily driver. I am booted in and everything is working right so far, but the problem is that I selected a hardened profile when I set up this machine, and my desktop runs on a regular profile.
I was wanting to switch to a hardened profile for my desktop build; I like experimenting with security related things, but if it is gonna break things, then I don't want to switch.
My question is, will running a hardened profile on a desktop build have any drawbacks? |

It works well.
You can create your own profile based on hardened and desktop profiles. Then the things will be easier. |
