I use dist kernel sys-kernel/gentoo-kernel and have this error many times on boot. Is it bad? How can it be fixed?
Code: | NOHZ tick-stop error: local softirq work is pending, handler #200!!! |

Do you get this error also when you boot with an UbuntuLiveCD (and work a little bit with it) ?
I ask, because I want to be sure it is really hardware related; but even then I would say that you can continue to use the system if everything else works (but make backups). _________________ https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/User:Pietinger |

Hmmm ... I see some options ... depending if you have real problems or just annoyed by the error message.
0. Live with the error (for the moment) ... I choosed this as option zero because ... of course I dont suggest it
1. Try a newer Gentoo dist-kernel (6.10.6 at the moment), or
2. Use Ubuntu's or Debian-sources kernel, or
3. Provide as many information as possible:
a) Have you configured anything to our dist-kernel ? If yes, we need the .config file (if it is the native dist-kernel we know the configuration and dont need it).
b) All 3 files mentioned here (tells us something about the hardware):

Please use wgetpaste to share files and command output.
It's a bash script. You will need to emerge it befbre you can use it.
wgeatpaste -h
will tell how to use it. _________________ Regards,

I can't find the error in your dmesg. Can you give me the timestamp?
For me your syslog is looking really good, except it tells me that you have not emerged net-wireless/wireless-regdb (you should) ->
Code: | [ 5.486439] Loading firmware: regulatory.db
[ 5.488325] platform regulatory.0: Direct firmware load for regulatory.db failed with error -2
[ 5.488330] cfg80211: failed to load regulatory.db |

Hmmm ... maybe this is involved:
Code: | Oct 26 09:55:32 [kernel] [ 11.534213] bridge: filtering via arp/ip/ip6tables is no longer available by default. Update your scripts to load br_netfilter if you need this. |
