When logged on suspend -resume to ram and hibernate work OK.
When suspend to ram, from logon screen, resume Blank screen.
Keyboard and mouse inoperative.
ssh not possible.
Disk acces light flickers from time to time.
A force power-cycle is needed.

This sounds similar to an issue I have. When this happens will it let you Ctrl+alt+F2 to another vt then back to the graphical vt? This usually works for me. But since you say your mouse and keyboard don't work your issue might be different. My screen wakes back up and the backlight comes on. I can move my mouse cursor. But there is no image and no login prompt... almost like the screen locker is crashing.
Usually switching to a vt then back works. Other times I have to switch to a vt. Login on the cli with my user. Then use loginctl list-sessions to get the list of sessions and then loginctl unlock-session which then puts me back into the graphical session I was in before suspending. Sometimes just letting the display go to sleep will trigger it. So I think the screen locker is crashing.
System is fully ~amd64 keyworded using plasma/systemd profile with the additions from the hardened profile. |
